What are your thoughts on me and my work?

Here I am in one of my most famous films, The Scarlet Letter.  It was much harder to play a "harlot" than it looks!

My mentor, friend, and director.  D.W. Griffith, always handsome, always just a bit strange.  I owe my career to him and I truly can't thank him enough.  Through my eyes he will always be the man in the picture above, no matter how old or mean he gets.  Thank you D.W., you're truly the best.

Here is a photo of my mother, Mary, my sister, Doatsie, and I.  This was just after Doatsie and I got into our first films.  I love them both so much.

Broken Blossoms, directed by D.W Griffith.  This was one of my first and most intense films.  I am truly grateful for the experience and the opportunities I received from being in this beautiful movie.

Here I am introducing the film The Wind.  I am immensely proud in my work in this movie.  I got to star in this movie with the wonderful Lars Hanson.  Victor Sjöström, the director, taught me much.  Great thanks to both of these magnificent men.

I am quite a strong headed women, if this quote is any indication. I have been told that I'm feisty but delicate at the same time. I take pride in that!
